When I heard him say "The most realistic depiction of New York city in a game ever" I was thinking..

Isn't lying a sin?
I loved Firefly. I still have a Firefly marathon every 6 months and rewatch the entire series.

That's WRC alright. Mikko Hirvonen's Ford Focus to be exact. With real World Rally Championship cars this might convince me to get it instead of Dirt 2.
@allenvanhellen

Yeah and the "walking sticks" could make a noise like rain when you shake them. That would be great for blind walkabouts!

abninfantrygamer you make an interesting point. There no way that companies like Blackwater should be used especially since they operate outside the law. But your point that they are regular guys makes me re-examine my image of kill crazy psychos. If the regular military paid more of if there were more opportunities at home this wouldn't be as big a problem.

It's scary how many people still don't realize that mercenaries are being used in Afghanistan and Iraq.
I'm waiting for the Chase Quarters Wii game. At least with the virtual version you don't destroy the table top and you don't break any glasses.

I got one of these given to me at a trade show about 6 or 7 years ago. It was kind of cool since it could be programed with macros to turning stuff on and tuning to a specific channel but since my nephew was 6 and had his own hand me down PC he didn't need the help with his own remote control. The weemote is is a box in the bottom of a cupboard somewhere at home.

I do remember thinking when the Nintendo Revolution got called the Wii that Nintendo couldn't use the term Wiimote since there was already a Weemote. Forbis should have sold the name then an there and made some money.

It took a while for me to make the connection even though I'm a huge TP fan. The lyrics were familiar but the image threw me off. Final Fantasy and Tom Petty make a very strange mashup.

My iPod is playing The Waiting as I write this.
That was the first Onion article in a while that I read all the way to the end. They usually have a great headline and first paragraph but then they just keep on and on with the same joke.

This one was gold all the way through.
I would like to know who determines that there is nothing wrong with the returned equipment. "It turns on," is not a proper way of determining if it is OK. I simply don't believe the 95% number. The number would be high but not that high.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
