Sony confirms PS3 controller redesign {Engadget}
Mar 23rd 2006 1:34AM They're gonna make a traditional style controller, probably with elements of the dual-shock and of the xbox controller. Maybe they'll take advantage of this redesign opportunity to incorporate a motion-detection functionality not unlike the revolution setup. Sony has been known to "borrow" controller ideas in the past, and the motion sensor would allow for playable console fps'. Poor nintendo shoulda kept their controller secret for longer :P
