The Greenwash to End All Greenwashing? GM reportedly pondering changing logo color {Autoblog}

Jul 13th 2009 6:47AM "Furthermore, car companies almost never change logos especially one that has been around for a century."

this statement (similar to your entire post) is completely factually inaccurate. up until recently the logos have been changed with some regularity.

name some US car company logos that have never changed.

VIDEO: 2010 Jaguar XJ out for joy ride in London {Autoblog}

Jul 13th 2009 1:25AM "Huh? What dual screen technology?"

depending on viewing angle the LCD will show two separate images. as in people on the drivers side of the screen will see navigation information. people on the passengers side will see a movie or whatever. *simultaneously*.

BREAKING: Lutz says Pontiac G8 to survive as Chevy Caprice in U.S.; Camaro Z28 reportedly dead {Autoblog}

Jul 11th 2009 5:07PM seconded. surprised it took this long for someone to bring this up.

originally the G8 was to have a standard on more than just the GXP. at some point that changed. that was also the point i took if off any serious consideration for ever purchasing.

BREAKING: Lutz says Pontiac G8 to survive as Chevy Caprice in U.S.; Camaro Z28 reportedly dead {Autoblog}

Jul 11th 2009 5:04PM "first off, dont make it the caprice, either make it the Monte Carlo, (as an owner of a classic monte carlo, i am ok with a 4 door monte carlo) or Impala."

wouldn't Chevelle make the most sense? as in it doesn't compete / replace an existing model. has no bad associations (ie. no recent turd FWD cars like the Impala... or Monte Carlo) and unlike the Monte Carlo *was* actually sold as 2-door / 4-door / wagon etc.

conveniently enough... the El Caminos were based on the original Chevelles. oh look! they have an El Camino type car based on this platform already!

Tata considers more Jaguar/Land Rover cuts after massive loss {Autoblog}

Jun 27th 2009 5:41AM a loss of 25.05 billion rupees?

you are going to need to spend a LOT of time swording the bushes to get that many. it will take awhile.

First Drive: 2010 Ford Transit Connect, the right size for a smaller economy {Autoblog}

Jun 20th 2009 10:57PM "...bring it from where exactly? There is no RWD Transit Connect."

good thing he didn't say Transit Connect. he said Transit.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Transit

which... oh look! ... is full-size and RWD.

idiot.

Far right wing reportedly ready to boycott a newly federalized GM {Autoblog}

Jun 9th 2009 6:16AM that isn't socialism by any dictionary i have. there are far more things in this country that have been around a looooooong time that would be more apt to be called "socialism" than this action.

i love it when people think they learned a new word based entirely upon hearing it repeated again and again and again that this is socialism or that we are turning socialist.

eventually people just start insisting that is the truth. and then use the terms non-freaking-stop like halloween scare tactic against kindergartners... 'BOOGITY BOOGITY BOOGITY!!! SOCIALISM! BOOGITY! BOOGITY!'

how very goebbels-esque.

Far right wing reportedly ready to boycott a newly federalized GM {Autoblog}

Jun 9th 2009 6:07AM "'The Creature from Jekyll Island' by G. Edward Griffin."

let's see... a john bircher crackpot who thinks he can cure cancer with apricot seeds and thinks he knows where noahs ark is buried.

yeah. sounds like he is firing on all cylinders for sure. only things missing are maybe a bit about the reptilian base in the core of a hollow earth or the benefits of ingesting colloidal silver.

i bet that book did change those 10 peoples lives... they stopped talking to you and stopped listening to any book suggestions you make. as a result i imagine their exposure to extreme wingnuttery decreased and their critical thinking skills improved measurably.

you mentioned earlier in another comment that the right-wing gets labeled as crackpots or conspiracy theorists... no... crackpots and conspiracy theorists get labeled as crackpots and conspiracy theorists.

pretty big difference. relatively easy to spot too.
