not that the SHO would compete in any logical category with this Camaro anyway.

Nov 5th 2009 5:09AM a) you can't buy this Camaro at all. so a bit pointless comparing it to the highest-end production Mustang.
b) where did your pricing information come from? thin air?
c) in addition to being a one-off... it obviously isn't meant to compete with the GT500 even if it was a production machine.
d) the Taurus SHO is a 5.3 second 0-60 car. this one-off show car has the same power as the V8 SS Camaro in a body we can reasonably expect to weigh the same. gearing and power delivery are a toss up as this is a one-off show car. the FWD-biased AWD system in the SHO i doubt will be much help (probably a hindrance) in pure drag times. either way... the SS V8 does a 0-60 in 4.6 seconds. i doubt the SHO would beat it in the quarter mile.
e) the SHO is an automatic and ONLY automatic. this isn't. that alone is enough to make up my mind ... in this imaginary world you live in where this is a SHO competitor (it isn't) and is something you can actually purchase (you can't).
f) staunch partisanship in cars is just as close-minded and mentally corrupt as it is in politics. i'd suggest using critical thinking skills... but you made it clear you lack that facility.
