spam elsewhere. thanks.
which auto company has never taken any government (from any government) money ever in their existence?

think very hard before you answer. citations needed.
i would think the apology by Fox News for using old campaign footage would be the "guarantee that it's old footage."

or else why would they apologize?

you used a whole lot of words to prove you don't know how to read the GD article.
International Harvesters are still quite common in Afghanistan... seeing as they were hugely popular back during the conflict with the USSR.
you keep saying Number 2 and Number 6 .... you know they dropped the prefix "Number" in the new one right? yes. they made that small change for no real reason at all. they are known as "2" and "6" in the new mini-series for no good reason.
having finally watched the recorded Modern Family i had... based entirely on people going off on how great it is... i expected to be blown away at the awesomeness.

um. no. it's okay. i think in 6 episodes i had the corner of my mouth raise into a small smirk once or twice.

30 Rock still manages at *least* 1 or 2 legitimate laugh-out-louds per episode.

is there some other different show that is called Modern Family? the one i am watching is on ABC and has Ed O'Neil in it. where is this other one that is supposedly funnier than 30 Rock?

Community is funnier and more interesting than Modern Family. Modern Family is amusing enough i'll probably keep watching it... but funnier than 30 Rock? i think not.
i thought for certain that "Limbo" would be a completely obvious shoe-in for this list. but... no?

apparently not new enough or classic enough to even be recognized.

there was another movie recently that had a Limbo-esque ending. totally spacing on it right now. but also not on this list.

personally i can think of a lot of movies that would have *benefited greatly* by having an ambiguous ending. there are a lot of good movies that get ruined with a horrible slapped on ending. in some cases ... a non-ending would 've been highly preferable to any and all of original and theatrical and alternate endings.
has anyone set up a pool on when Tim-1 will pull a Robert John Bardo on Grace Park?

it has to be only a matter of months at this point. eventually the candle-lit room covered with magazine clipped photos and stuff stolen from her trash just won't be satisfying enough anymore.
i think ABC might be an ex-Firefly actors work program. Nathan Fillion is on "Castle" and Gina Torres has a very very very minor role on "Flash Forward".

Ron Glass was in "Dirty Sexy Money" which was also ABC and canceled last season.

Dollhouse of course has had a bunch of ex-BSG people on it ... and one ex-Firefly so far... possibly 2... if Summer Glau is in one of those final episodes.
i was honestly *more* surprised that Chill Mitchell from that "Brothers" show was actually disabled.

when i saw the promos... i knew i recognized him from somewhere and couldn't place it. and at the time thought it was a bit gimmicky to just make a random guy be in a wheelchair in a sitcom. looked it up... (it was Galaxy Quest) and discovered he actually was in an accident that left him in wheelchair.

also... you may be surprised by this as well : Carl Lumbly didn't need a wheelchair in M.A.N.T.I.S. either.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
