About fucking time, Nintendo! Mario Kart SNES is one of the best games of all time and it took you three damn years to bring it to VC. For shame.
I love it. Public spats like this are always entertaining to watch :)
Charli, that's a lie. While AT&T's network is theoretically fast, Verizon's 3G is still very fast, and certainly waaaaaaaay faster than Edge. Only an Apple fanboy could say something like that. How's your iPhone treating you?

The other advantage of Verizon's 3G is anywhere you have Verizon you have 3G. AT&T's 3G is only available in major metro areas and is quite unreliable from my experience. I never have problems with Verizon's network failing me.
The keyboard on the droid is fine. Everyone complains about it but I have no issues with it. Yeah, it could be a little better, but I can type pretty damn fast on it. I'm perfectly happy with it.

Second, HTC Sense is lame. I don't know why everyone gets their panties all wet about it. I had the Hero for a few weeks, and when I finally saw what "vanilla" Android was like when I got the Droid, I was like - wtf does sense do then? From what I can tell, the only thing it does is let you have 7 desktops instead of 3, and it has some exclusive widgets made by HTC. BUT THAT'S IT! The 7 screens is handy but that's really the only difference. I wouldn't even go so far as to call it a "skin" - the button on the bottom to pull up the app menu looks different but otherwise it's the exact same interface with a few extra screens and widgets. BIG DEAL! Why does everyone insist on having this program before they buy a phone? It doesn't do anything!
@htowngator - yeah, that feature is great, and it's amazing how few people know about it. Both the people I know with Droid's didn't know about this and I had to inform them of it. Even though it is still pretty convenient, the iPhone hardware switch to switch the phone to silent trumps all Android. It is so convenient, it's one of two things I miss from the iPhone. The other being multi-touch, but I know that will be available soon via the hax0rs.
Had the Droid since day 1, no issues here. If a reboot fixes it in most cases, at least temporarily, then it most certainly is a software issue. My guess it the majority of people with these problems are using one of those "task killers". I read a lot of Android forums and if there's one very common thread, people who have problems almost always seem to be the people who use these task killers. It takes some digging to discover it but it's almost always the case,

People - don't use these programs. They are not necessary and will not extend your battery life. Android automatically kills background apps that haven't been used for a while. The only thing you will accomplish with them is fucking up your phone. Trust me. If you are having this issue, do a factory reset and never use one of these programs again. I can almost guarantee it's the cause of this problem.
Absolutely agreed. There are so many iPhone fanboys that take every chance they can get to bash the Droid, I would bet $1000 that at least half of the "my droid has problems" votes are from these bitches.
Duh? Like online petitions ever do *shit*? Of course these MF's bought it.
It's pathetic how many of you are defending AT&T. Their networks sucks, period. It's just a fact. Yes, it's faster - when it works. Almost everyone with AT&T complains about dropped calls. It's what you get with their network. Who in their right mind would defend them other than an Apple fanboy?
Yes, absolutely. This phone appeals to no one. It seems to make more sense to release a BETTER version of the Pre, rather than a dumbed down version. This is like Apple releasing the original iPhone NOW, when the 3GS is 10x better. Why anyone in the world would buy the Pixi is beyond me. I like the keyboard better, the Pre one is way too cramped and untactile, but that's it. If I was in the market for either of these phones, I'd have to be a moron to get the pixi. Even if it was free instead of the $150 of the Pre, when you take into account that you're going to be spending minimum $70 per month for the plan anyways, the difference in upfront price would only make a difference to you if you're a complete moron.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
