So att shitty 3g coverage is better than sprint when sprint is way more dependable and has way more 3g coverage than att. Unlike the iphone the pre does give you a great 3g experience for about $40 dollars less. And didn't you see the other posts that the pre will probably will come to vzw thats a good move going to att is the worst move ever.
My prediction is vzw will be getting the pre and pixie. But palm will anounce the Pre 2 totally redisigned or probably put a landscape keyboard. Reason why they will give about 6 months of exclusivity to sprint for the pre 2 again is because they have always had a good relationship with sprint and sprint had their back when palm was dying and att and vzw turned their back on them.
Not being able to update yet here in Phoenix, AZ

Tell me about I have been sprint loyal i was always waiting for Touch pro 2 or any smart phone device with ptt capabilities. But in a way is better that they decided to keep iden for their ptt maybe they can come up with a device lets say for example the Pre 2 with cdma/gsm/iden capabilities would be better (dream) instead of a qchat device because iden will work in other countries like mexico, brazil etc.
@PattyXXX
Because ATT charges the same price for data plans as vzw does thats why. Now on the other hand Sprint is way cheaper with a better 3g network than att and up par with VZW. Now to Verizon complaints they're complaints are that sprint has more dropped calls that doesn't have anything to do with 3g wtf is that about.
lol wow maybe if att was to have a 3g signal people would be able to do that and last maybe if the call didn't dropped halfway they might continue the conversation.

Gay comeback by apple. VZW go ahead and state how you can keep a call connected inside of the elevator and point out how crappy gsm signal freaking sucks.

Just to let you know the samsung moment is not that great currently owned both devices. I will return the moment its battery life really sucks is mostly because it can't pick up a good signal and is not on evdo all the time. I know is the phone cause th pre is on evdo 100 percent of the time. Now to the software android is buggy and I am always getting the message android needs to force close.

Multitasking on android can't even compete in that category with the pre. Not to mention most apps suck for example the pandora really sucks big time on the moment you hear garble sound all the time specially when a text message comes in and no is while it had a good 3g signal and it still does that when connected with wifi. The moment has great hardware like the qwerty keyboard and big screen but the os is definitely not that great when i have to open and close it reminds me of windows mobile it lags to put the screen in landscape mode.

All to all if the moment had web os it would be perfect but it doesn't. Maybe an update will fix it but how long is going to be for that. Now everybody has different opinions but that's what i have experience with the moment so far in 3 weeks of use. Of all the devices the pre is by far the best because of its software. Hardware wise it has some flaws like the keyboard but once you get used to it is alright and for the people that bring the cheap material excuse that's why i have the insurance with sprint i can easily swap it out unlike cough cough iphone.
To me is just funny that att even bothers on replying, their 3g network sucks plain and simple they are just making themselves look stupid. They are the second biggest wireless carrier but in terms of data their 3g can't even compete with sprint (third largest carrier) which has twice as much 3g network coverage than ATT.

Real world test have shown Sprint as the better one for data with vzw right behind them by a small marging.
Sprint 3g has proven more reliable than vzw and att but not by much from vzw such as the latest real world test by pc world.
It would be funny and a big blow to att if sprint came out with a similar add like verizon stating att weak 3g network.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
