Early adopter my ass. Remember EA and Dreamcast?
Tyson, also not to be snarky, but you do know that GPD per Capita doesn't actually mean the wealth is evenly distributed by the people that compose a nation (after all USA isn't a Communist country, and even if it were, as we all know by other countries such as China, USSR, and Cuba, things don't work that way either).

USA just happens to have some of the biggest corporations in the world (such as Intel and Microsoft) that generate a LOT of money. And that money, be it in banks, invested or in the hands of people, divided by the number of citizens is equal to GDP per Capita. What you could say, however, - based on GDP per Capita - is that the work of an American generates more wealth than that of an European.

But that, Tyson, is bound to change in the next twenty or so years, as the Eastern and Central European countries who recently joined the European Union rise to the standards of the wealthiest of the Union, such as Germany, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, etc...

You're still an Idiot in my book though. :-)
LOL. Right, that's a seems like sound strategic plan by Intel.

"Let's stop selling our products in the biggest single market in the world - That is the European Union not the US* - and let's free up space, so that other chipmakers, like AMD, can take over our place in Europe, where we were fined because we were practicing anti-free-market actions, so as to have the whole market for us and killing of our competitors in the meanwhile."

Yeah Right. Idiot.

It's written Per Se (By Itself) in Latin not Per ce...
I'll remember dreamcast with fond memories even 50 years from now. I can still remember what I felt when I bought it and brought it home, and what it felt to play games like Grandia II, Shenmue, Jet Set Radio, Metropolis Street Racer, Dead or Alive, Soul Calibur, Crazy Taxi, Power Stone 2 ("Hey hey hey! Don't fall off! Cos it's a long way down there!"), Shenmue 2, Sonic Adventure, Chuchu Rocket, Phantasy Star Online, etc.. etc.. omfg.. screw you all third party developers for jumping on Sony playstation 2 hype bandwagon!
Zomfg. Sega making a new IP!?
The end is nigh.
There ain't no team ninja in team ninja without itagaki innit! fools!
You just broke my heart with the reference to Shenmue.

Oh my heart aches. Shenmue, where art thou?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
