Jun 24th 2008 7:33PM Ive hates public attention, and he isn't even a computer guy, he's a designer. I agree with the others who said that the CEO won't be giving the keynotes. I don't think its likely to find another person capable of presenting as well as Jobs and capable of running the company. Forestall seems like an appealing candidate, but he just doesn't seem to have the business mind. He definetely will be an important player on the stage.

Jun 20th 2008 11:37AM I had the chance to check out some 8k televisions in the NHK booth at NAB. It whips HD's ass. Thats all I can say. (You could see the fibers in the jersey of several football players running around on screen.)

Jun 20th 2008 11:16AM It may be possible that the sudden drop to a hard surface could be what causes the need for medical attention. If it was so dangerous there wouldn't be a requirement that every officer carrying a taser be shot with one before they are allowed to use it.

Jun 13th 2008 1:43PM I have mixed feelings about this. It does seem a little uncharacteristic for Apple, but is it really that bad? The phone is only shipping to 70 countries because of the new business model between the manufacturer and carrier. That of course only means more funding for the next wave of i-devices.

There were thousands of products on display that were designed to work with the Final Cut and the Mac, but nowhere was there a place to discuss the values of the Mac. Business consumers and creative professionals don't want to watch an ad on television. They want to touch the product their about to invest in.

May 28th 2008 1:33PM OLED is great, except that there are no connections in existence that small for video. All of those OLED TVs have awkward boxes attached.
