Although it would be wishful thinking, Vodafone initially refused to touch the iphone and wait till the 3g version came out. Giving this timing, and the expected announcement of the 3G iphone, AND the fact that Vodafone in all those countries listed above have recently been partaking in massive 3G/HADPA upgrades and or announcements. Seems to point in the direction that they may release the 3G Iphone to those markets.
It would make sense, rather then restrict the market, open a huge portal to the customers on 3G networks within a close time frame disrupting the flow of Grey market imports and allow maximum market penetration.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
