I'm most likely not going to win anyway, but are you guys hiring? I'm good with networking. If not that, i can do anything, nothing is too menial..i need a job more than a waterproof camera. I am getting my B.A in Corporate FInance in May. Thanks.
This is ∑ngadget we're talking about here....bastions of subjectivity. What did you expect? They never claimed to be any more useful. Reading ∑ngadget sometimes is NOT like you're wiping your å®se with silk. hmmm
FOLKS REMEMBER THAT bestbuy ALWAYS INFLATES THEIR FULL PRICES FOR PHONES BECAUSE UNLIKE sprint (and the other carriers) THEY DO NOT DO mail-in-rebates, THEY GIVE IT TO YOU instantly with contract WHEN YOU ACTIVATE THROUGH THEM.

SPRINT TREO PRO full price is $549.99 direct from Sprint, NOT $699.99. THAT IS A bestbuy specific PRICE.
Dude, i have a TrendNet router (TEW-432BRP) i bought at CompUSA too almost 2 yrs ago that i'm still using and it's the best $25 i ever spent. Don't know what you did to yours, but TrendNets are great routers.
Funny...and ironic....i've been with Sprint 9 yrs and counting and this never happened and yet everyone shyytes on Sprint left and right, front and back, in and out..(hmmm).
In the past year alone ATT has had more outages than i have fingers.. I get grief from GSM folks for being on CDMA and bla la bla but i haven't heard the CDMA folks (Sprint, Verizon) with any outages in recent memory.
I'll skip the $199 tack-on and just get the tiny as hell Sprint USB EVDO card (Compass™ 597 by Sierra Wireless ) and plug it in a USB port. Got mine free with contract. Works like a charm on a MBPro and an MSI WInd.
Then you must be John McCain olde.....
Oh enough with all these douchebaggery, you could have bought the unlocked known as the...tara...HTC Tytn, rather than the *carrier branded version* known as the ATT Tilt for less than $500.
Even if you were that desperate enough to buy the Tilt through ATT locked at full price, you could have unlocked it for free or next to nothing. Ever heard of xda-developers.com..hmm..hmmm. I have a Sprint Touch Pro and even though it's a damm great phone i would never pay full price to but it outright at $579..not worth it.
Even the original iPhone at $499 and $599 were not worth it and i was telling all my iSheep iHerd douchbag friends not to pay such stupid price, but they wouldn't listen. it must have been mating season and Steve Jobs' alpha piss was too pungent for them not to get a woodie towards. Few months later, it drops to a more reasonable $399.

Point is that the iPhone pricing has ruined it for these uber pricey PDA phones of late. I kinda wish they'd go back to the $399 iPhone (w/or without contract) period. i made a living on those, unlocking them for nothing and *cough* *cough* sending them abroad.
Sorry GM but I'm already doing this with my Sprint 3G Windows Mobile phone and WMWifiRouter software. Matter of fact I'm typing this on a moving NYC bus on an iPod Touch on wifi via my HTC Touch Pro.
So basically folks should get the *lube* ready 'cause Verizon's coming *up* behind and jonesing for some gouging.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
