I'm wondering if I should get Verizon's (or AT&T, I guess) data thingy because I'm a computer programming student who has to commute 3 hours a day to get to work, and I'd rather just do my homework in those 3 hours than listen to music or do whatever. All I need to do is use a lot of Google for looking up syntax, usage and other code snippets. I'm wondering if I should get that weekly or monthly deal. Good or bad idea?
Still a memory hog on Windows. I opened up Google, and it consumed 90MB of RAM. I'm going to stick with Chrome, which uses 1/3 of that when browsing Engadget.
Nilay, are you promoting your own band? =P.
Isn't it more like undefined?
Just curious - why can't Apple have the option of buying tracks in FLAC? Then the consumer can encode them into whatever format they want. Although I guess since iTunes doesn't support FLAC, it sorta defeats the purpose lol.
At first glance, I read "Pinch Yourself" as "Punch Yourself"
Nice GT4 UMD design. Now if they only would release the damn game. XD. And speaking of UMDs, I don't particularly hate it. Nor do I like it either. No matter how big digital downloads get, there's something different about owning the actual factory made/packed/pressed CD/DVD/Blu Ray. The feeling is totally different. That's why I'd rather buy a music CD (or a game DVD) instead of downloading it.
She can charge her vibrated *while* wanking. The vibrator keeps going and going and going and going and going and going...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
