Hugh Laurie did audition. There was an interview on Hulu a while ago where one of the producers said they were tired of people with foreign accents auditioning for the part. Laurie auditioned and knocked it out of the park. The producers then went on a rant about how he was perfect for the part (not realizing he was British).

Boston Legal mocked ABC, which was friggen awesome. They mocked the way that networks worked, in a kind of self-deprecating way... I think I can honestly say, the last two seasons of BL were the best of the entire series.
Clearly, if the government bailed me out with the magnitude that they have the financial and auto industries, we wouldn't be in a recession. I would have spent all that money by now.

"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
