This guy has got a point, Amazon Kindle books for instance ARE cheaper then the hard copy versions.
Happy b-day to one of my favorite sites :)
Damn, I saw the screen shot for R-type and assumed it was a space themed side scrolling shooter (like my favorite game for NES, LifeForce) only to find out its a turn based strategy game... oh well
What the hell is wrong with Sony? Why are they wasting their time/money releasing all this rubbish, where are the good ps1 games! Don't they do any market research before releasing them? With their current track record I find it hard to believe we'll actually get Blood Omen even though I've got my fingers crossed on that one. You see, I REALLY want to believe Sony will figure out what we want out of PSN. All I know is that until I see some decent games, the only thing I'll be downloading from PSN is free demos!

Wow I am so pumped for this game.... getting pretty close to release day now! =)
I would really love to get a copy of this game! =)
I was alive in the 80's, I just never got into gaming until 86 when I got a NES console. Still don't understand the layout though... it would make sense with a game like pac man maybe but then the description also says it can play street fighter...
what kind of company invests in a new format in the middle of a format war with no end in sight... what a waste of money, I'm betting this company will disappear off the radar entirely before people even find out what a VMD player is.
Anyone else find it strange how the controls are laid out? While I'm sure there are a few games it might not be a problem with, seems to me that the majority of games wouldn't be to fun to play with a upside down or sideways display? Perhaps the screen is split 4 ways, but for this kind of money I'd rather buy or build a MAME cabinet with 4 control pads set up properly to share the entire screen.
Wow, I'm disturbed by the recent trend of gold plating electronics and lining them with diamonds. First cell phones and now this... Seems crazy when the technology housed within will become obsolete in less then a handful of years. Regardless, they might as well have decided to build a little mega phone into this thing that screams 'steal me!' every 2 seconds. If I was the owner I would be afraid to take this thing anywhere and that would defeat the whole point of owning a laptop in the first place. Also, to be frank... this thing is quite ugly.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
