People always think geeks and nerds are are so messed up and sometimes plain mentally impaired...... and you just gave them more ammo. Thanks!
May your wish be granted! At $469 and a required, included 3yr warranty -- I'm in for 1!

... By the way, they're advertising it as multi-touch.. are they just trying to be clever and it just support dual-touch?
Totally agree. Beautiful product, Lotus... very well done. Almost makes me wish I went for a Lotus instead of my Carrera... lol. If this was an option, I probably would've :D
That's what you get for buying an overrated overpriced crap car, IMO.
Not worth it.. there's an exotic car rental service here in Florida that's much more "affordable". For $50k/yr you can pick from several cars (I could've sworn they had a bugatti.. maybe not) but they limit you to only a few hundred miles a month. Another company locally here is called Gotham Dream Cars, which have a Saleen S7, Murcielago (including an LP640), plenty of F430s and 360, 911 Turbos and Aston Martin...

The S7 is just under $3k. Price-for-price MSRP it would be a mere $9-12k/day for a Veyron. *shrugs*
Sure, the unions and six-figure incomes for a majority of their workers doesn't cause any issues..... of course not.
Catch up to the Volt? What planet are you from? There's about a dozen electric/hybrid cars that are WAYYY ahead of the Volt. Chevy is old news and they're 3 years too late to hit the market. Didn't see the BS Volt that Wagner drove to D.C. asking for the bailout? It didn't even get 28mpg. My family had a Geo almost 2 decades ago that got around 40mpg on trips.
Am I the only one that noticed the article link for "still being used" is dated April 21st, 2008.....?
"and justifies the charge on the grounds that Microsoft will 'run a rigorous certification process to ensure that the end user's experience is optimal, ..."

I'd hope that this is a better process than the way they tested Windows Vista, which are hardly ideal for the optimal end user experience.
If they wind up at 50k euro for the base model, I'm in for 1!

I hear all these comparisons.. sort of surprised the Viper GTS was not mentioned. That's what I think of when I see it besides the front looking totally different, like aforementioned Aston Martin.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
