I think AMD is getting a bad rap right now. The Phenom X4-955 can more than compete with the i7-920.
I live in central pa also and have att with the iphone and get great 3g service.
I think the XMB is a good interface and the X360 is only re-doing the interface because it is too hard to add more content to the blade UI.
great first post...
Microsoft Windows 2000...best OS they have done yet.
I had a E61 for about a week then returned it. It wasn't a horrible phone but it was very slow.

I'm not the target audience for that kind of phone though of course because i need a phone that can play music as well as it can get my email.
I don't want to defend the long post of clak's but I know its tough to read in the internet age but he says:

and I'm not saying that just because I'm an Apple Fanboy, even though I am.

He never said he wasn't an apple fanboy....
Fedora 9 is not ready for primetime at least not for a few weeks. They shipped it with xserver 1.5 which is beta so there are no nvidia drivers that currently work. Everything else seems to work pretty good and it does have a new init system called UpStart. I do think it definitely isn't as ugly as ubuntu is but in the next version of ubuntu is supposed to look a lot nicer.
I actually switched from ubuntu 8.04 to this and first time i've used fedora since fedora 3.
Sorry I typed that wrong but what I meant to say for $235 I don't think its that bad of a deal but then again maybe i don't need 100 fps in my games.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
