Well, someone has sand in their vagina.
Whats the bet that these end up hideously over priced and incredibly hard to find just like every other interchangeable face for every other product that has interchangeable faces?
I guarantee you that this will be released in australia before rockband. Lets just say, Harmonix, That I only have enough room and money for one band-game, and its going to be the one thats on the shelf here first.
Good for him for being an employed adult and having the money and skills to design and patent something that every video game playing 5 year old dreamed up while playing a baseball/star wars game 15 years ago.

Just because you have the skills and money to design and patent something doesnt mean that youre the first to come up with the idea, it just means youre the first to patent it.

How about releasing original hardware (guitar, drums, mic) that dont break instantly? Or how about releasing the game in a region other than North America?

Selling the game in other regions would net them more profit than spinning crappy add ons that (according to comments on this site) wont sell too well.

Touch screens, voice control, and now gestures?

What the fuck was ever wrong with just buttons?
having a custom soundtrack of 100 mp3s of my own choosing in Excite truck really made the game enjoyable. Having your favorite song come on right as you start a race just makes it that much more fun to blast through and kick ass.

I hope this update doesnt stop developers using a similar function, because it really adds to the experience.
SE phones are far better than many nokias, in my opinion. configurable shortcut buttons and a shortcut menu thats fully customisable is extremely helpful. I dont think I have to use any more than 3 button presses to get anywhere on my phone that i have to access regularly.

the interface is as fast as you can push the buttons, and on some models the camera is excellent. The camera in my W810i has autofocus, which makes for some great quality pictures (considering its a camera-phone).

I think their phones are great handsets. Complaining about not having SD slots or being bland is people just looking for something to complain about - in most countries the phones come with the memory stick from the factory, and their designs are some of the better looking phones on the market. Of course thats a fairly subjective subject, but the phones definitely arent designed with 'bland' in mind. Take a look at Nokias if you want to see a boring handset. The W580i, W910i and now the W380i all have fairly unique design features to them compared to similarly priced models on the market. The other way you can look at it is their candy bars are designed people that want 'just a phone' for practicality reasons, which seems to be something that gets over looked pretty regularly in a mad rush to make the best selling phone (see: moto RAZR)
Judging by the dimensions provided by SE on this phone and the W810i, its 4mm taller, 0.5mm wider and 10mm flatter.
That sounds a little odd coming from someone that reads a website dedicated to useless gadgets and high end technology that serves little other purpose than to entertain people.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
