i hear you jojo. i make a little more than $25k/year, have a two year old PowerBook, a Fuji external monitor, a lovely iPod altec lansing speaker system, and some other little toys. total cost? i don't know. i am still paying the credit card interest on it. hahahahaha!
so, is this verizon licensed 700 going to be running a windows OS or a palm OS? i am bit confused over some conflicting information. any help would be appreciated.

hey there marshall. i am sure others will respond to you but i wanted to respond to you on behalf of mac users. i use evoca and have been part of the beta team. i run a powerbook G4 and have had the same problems you are describing. i think it has more to do with our onboard mic than anything. even when i use garageband or something i get the same result. a lot of cutting out. i have found that when i use my iSight mic i get a lot better recording. one of those things i guess. i hope a 1-800 number becomes available as i have a lot of friends internationally that will not be able to tap into evoca because of this. we will certainly work on something. at any rate. thank you for trying us out and finding us favorable overall. keep talking...we're listening!

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
