I have a 3G-S. Often when people ask me how I like my iPhone I answer: "It's a great device, and occasionally you can make phone calls on it too."

IOW, ATT's 3G network sucks. My wife never has dropped calls on her original Edge iPhone. I have dropped calls all the time, and connecting calls if and when they happen takes forever.

I hope Verizon keeps embarrassing the Hell out of ATT. Maybe finally they will live up to their promises.
I tried the DROID today at the San Francisco Verizon store on Market and 4th Streets. I am not letting go of my iPhone anytime soon.

I did not like the interface at all, I thought that compared to the iPhone it is very clumsy. The GPS was outright bad. it showed my presence correctly at Market and 4th in the map view, but for some reason in street view is was 7 blocks off at 4th and Bluxome.

I'll stick with what I have, ATT be damned.
Oops, what happened. I don't feel that strongly about it, that it showed up 3 times.

Sorry folds.
I don't know what it is with Apple, but as far as I am concerned they have never ever produced a decent mouse, including this one.

Years ago, when all mice already had two buttons, Apple stuck stubbornly with one. Then there was the little iMac round puck, a disaster. The Mighty Mouse was clumsy and heavy, with the little scroll ball getting gunked up often, and no real buttons, which often did not work properly.

And now this "Magic" mouse, that after a short time of working with it, starts to hurt my wrist. This is one of the worst mice I have aver worked with, albeit a very good looking one. The worst part is the lack of ergonomics. It is much too low, too thin. Even for people with small hands.

I'll stick with my ergonomic Logitech mouse. Those people know how to make mice. Many more programmable buttons to use. Apple should have outsourced the design of a new mouse to them. I bet in cooperation with their own design team they could have come up with something a lot better. This thing stinks mostly because of the lack of ergonomics.

And swiping left/right is a pain in the ass, because the mouse does not stay steady on the desk.

SnowChecker is a rather sad piece of software. I downloaded it and ran it. It only recognized a very small number of my apps. It id not recognize anything from Adobe CS3,except Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader. It did not recognize anything from MS Office. It did not recognize my version of Toast Titanium. Parallels Desktop
Vaporware! Call me in 2013.
The compass function in maps while using GPS for driving directions while driving in a car, sucks. I am constantly being told about interference, and instructed to move my iPhone in a figure eight pattern to solve this. It doesn't solve anything. This makes the driving directions fairly useless.
I meant to say:

And as far as the audio volume in the menu is concerned, if you had taken the trouble to read the manual, you would have noticed, that you can adjust the volume in iDVD quite easily.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
