If I see a cheap laptop and it's intel i look straightaway at the gpu, and it's more than likely to be rubbish.

I'd rather get a cheap AMD based laptop, at least it'll have an ATI gpu inside it.
It's a multitouch tablet that doubles up as a keyboard/mouse for another mac or a pc.

it also has a retractable stand like the n900 and can take a usb keyboard for input so it can be use similar to an iMac when used on a desktop.
The New Mac Tablet should be able to do this, and when you are looking at it, it becomes a keyboard.

Also the 1 dimensional ui reminds me of the xbox 360 blades.
Also fitting more expensive laptops with only slightly better graphics cards gives people no reason to go for a fully blown laptop anymore.
It's a netbook because it's under 12"
It's so they can further upgrade it to a model with the camera in the right place.
So this is the first chinless Android HTC phone :)

For £200 (similar to the price the razr was on PayG) I would buy one straight away.
Oh good, i thought the SU suffix stood for Single Unit..
So is that Celeron and Solo? Meh...

Can't they produce low voltage quad cores?

Couldn't they just create 1024 cores at 50Mhz, I remember having a 486 that was really snappy. It just couldn't shift enough memory around when it came to Windows 95, the problem was never the mhz it was the memory throughput. And if mhz does matter for some legacy application just shove a 1.5Mhz core in the middle of the die..
We can be sure that they will all be toying with the idea of touchscreen devices.

Word must be spreading that someone is going to make touchscreen then next best thing.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
