Maccas in Australia has had free WiFi for a while now. I am not sure how many of the stores are free, but all of the ones i have been to come without any charge.
this.

I cannot believe VLC was just recommended to someone. VLC has one of the clunkiest interfaces ever, it it should be ashamed for being a mac application.

For a better user experience, use Quicktime X with Perian (and possibly Afloat to float Quicktime above everything else).
At least the comments have been fixed...
I own the later iteration of the 1030, being the 1050. It is by far the best camera i have ever used. I love it so much!

I would love to have 250GB a month! Right now i am stuck with 14GB on peek and off peek (so 28GB in total), and that is with 512kbs or something at $60 a month.

But really, it cant totally be blamed on the telcos. The main reason for sucky internet here is that there are hardly any underwater cables to get our internet. If there were more, i am sure the strain would be taken down, and our plans would get faster and cheeper

"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
