I always liked the old PvP titles. The character I'm playing now was only a lowbie alt when Blizzard did away with the ranking system, and I wish he'd been 60 so I could display the rank now. Blood Guard was about the coolest title ever.

Grinding for gear was awful, but the ranks that went along with it were fun to get (until you missed a week, of course).
It's insane how every time fear is mentioned half the replies are warlocks saying it's been nerfed into uselessness. If your PvP trinket's cooled down, hooray, it means you only spend 5-8 seconds of a fight with a warlock feared. If your PvP trinket's cooled down and you're a zombie with WoTF cooled down also, then - holy crap! - you can actually spend about half the fight not crowd controlled.

I'm not saying there are zero classes/specs that can kill a lock, and I'm not saying stunlock rogues or BM hunters are much less annoying... but when every non-warlock who PvPs has been whining for a nerf to fear in PvP for months on end, I think the people who say "QQ more" and leave it at that are being a little ridiculous.
Soroka has my vote for Winner of This Thread :)

As mentioned, all responses here will be anecdotal and prove nothing. Unless some Blizzard employee hops on with a giant pile of statistics saying "Side X has 30% more naughty words in general chat when all servers are averaged together, but Side Y is 12% more likely to camp a gray player." Which, now that I think of it, would be pretty cool facts to know!

I play Horde on Firetree, where there are three or four entire guilds of Alliance who must really have no responsibilities - given all the free time they have to gank 62s and grossly outnumbered 70s between plastering their miserable toons with epics. For what it's worth (not much).
Nice, I just emailed Verizon about estimated RAZR 2 availability earlier today because it's New Every Two time for me.

...And then I see the price, and I remember why I'm not an early adopter.
Orc: "We showed those four Alliance! Stupid griefers should have saved their cooldowns."
Blood Elf: "Haha, yea--oh, crap."
My favorite scene was the climax (well, what I'd consider the climax!), when Leonidas bowed before Xerxes and shed his helmet & shield so he could graze him with his spear. The whole scene captured so well the corresponding pages from Miller's graphic novel; Leonidas knew that wounding Xerxes would drive him mad, and knew that Sparta had a fighting chance thanks to his leadership and sacrifice.

Now, to order some of Miller's recommended reading about the real battle of Thermopylae!
Dear grumpy peers:

Pally tanking is hard. Most of the paladins who bother to try are bad at it.

Fire mages have great PvP abilities and burst damage. Lots of fire mages are crappy at PvE as a result.

Re. Lax.
If anything, Blizzard needs to be a little more mindful of line-of-sight issues in Arena maps, especially for hunters who struggle with confined spaces.

BUT, the hunters still crying that the dead zone needs to be removed from the game are either very bad or completely insane. Get back to us when mages can crit for over 1000 at the cost of 1 arrow and 0 mana and when most of their spells are instant-cast.
Agreed. I don't have a problem with Shattrath itself, as I'd rather not be chain-sapped by some jackass standing by the mailbox. I think the problem is flying mounts. The mechanic was a great idea and I love soaring around, but flying mounts are like a griefer's dream come true. See a level 66 fighting half a dozen things? Drop out of the sky and two-shot him. Something resembling a fair fight? Fly off unscathed or float there until the standard 3-1 Alliance Combat Ratio is in your favor.

I'm not sure how Blizzard could balance it best, but I think something should be in place aside from pure stun/slow/CC immunity for anyone off the ground.
I'd like to add that warriors talented for Second Wind will break your heart (and probably your face) if you try to stunlock them... they'll regen health each time you incapacitate them. I'm sure there's a warrior around here who would be glad to clarify or correct that :)

Also, I'm a proud member of the non-stunlocking-rogue community. Is premed/shadowstep/ambush a less dirty way to kill alliance than stunlocking? Probably not... but, to each his own!

"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
