I have both the TomTom and Navigon apps. The TomTom is trash.

Get Navigon.
Follow the instructions on Quickpwn.com. Worked for me. Got my tether and my mms on a 3GS running 3.0.
I agree with you but...

Step one: grab your item

Step two: go to the Person with the MBP at the back of the store.

Step three: pay
Exactly. If you politely and patiently discuss the issue, first with AppleCare over the phone, then a Genius face to face, you will get a new device.

Apple, is in a unique position as they know what it is like to have there customers abandon them. Now that they are successful they are trying to keep us around. But if all we do is bitch and moan, why would they even want us as customers? It's the patient and understanding customer who gets their way. Not the beligerant asshole.
You are defenitely right about the whole being pleasant thing. More than once I have been in there, without AppleCare, asking for something to be repaired or replaced. Each time the genius became rude and I stayed firm but pleasant in my resolve that something be done to rectify the situation. After the fifth or sixth time that I repeat my stance, big smile on my face, and the genius becomes more and more frustrated and rude, the manager will finally step in and give me whatever I want. I suspect that they keep detailed sales records and don't want to lose a dedicated customer over something so silly as an iPhone with a busted wifi chip.
In System Preferences>Bluetooth check the box to Show Bluetooth Status in Menu Bar. Once the bluetooth symbol is in the menu bar click on it. A menu will drop down. One option on the menu is Send File to Device.

There you go.
I started out with 5 in middle school. Went windows until Tiger. And now I will blow you for Snow Leopard.

Thanks.
You can use it in exactly the same way as you did your leopard disk. You can upgrade from leopard or tiger either erasing your drive or saving it. The install is even more seamless than leopard. I kept time machine backups of both of the systems I upgraded but did not need them because they were already functional as if nothing had happened upon startup. I had to look for the differences to be sure the upgrade worked on the leopard machine.
It works as an upgrade from Tiger. I have it. I have done it. It works.
Actually, I just upgraded my girlfriends Tiger MacBook. Worked perfectly. She loves it. I am envious of those who are making the jump from Tiger to Snow Leopard. Between the UI enhancements and performance boost it must be a great feeling.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
