Despite the hardware issues, I've had the most fun with my xbox360 and xbox in recent years. And the old xbox makes a great media player/ streamer with xbmc.

Judge: Is she little?
Is she old?

Case dismissed.
Every phone doesn't need to be 'hacked' to be useful. Some are actually open like this one.
Used HP for over 10 years, but their ridiculous cartridges (in price an design) and crappy software finally turned me away. Tried Epson: better carts but wasted too much ink.

Then I saw a Canon MP970. Found an all-in-one that game me everything I needed in one device including networking and direct CD printing (modded the firmware to Europe to unlock it - google it). The quality is unmatched IMHO. too bad they decided to go with these new PITA chipped carts. Cost more to get them re-filled/replaced, but so far the cost per page is much better then the Epson.
Same here. Picked up a HD-DVD add-on drive cheap last year and got Heroes S1 and 3 extra movies free, so the drive more then paid for itself on day one (and that's not including the 5 free from the mail-in offer).

I also got my PS3 from my fiance this past X-mas, so this news doesn't sting having both players already. I also put off buying any movies for either format until recently, so my total investment 'pre-fallout' is minimal.

If anything, I look forward to getting some great deals on cheap HD-DVD discs. I can always plug the drive to my PC and rip them to another format later when physical media becomes 'so last gen'. I just hope the lack of competition doesn't have us remembering the good ol' days when Blu-ray movies were 'only' 30 bucks.

"Ultraportables are a hot topic right now for blogs. It draws out the "MacBook Air is a horrible piece of crap" crowd in droves. Hell, just look at the comments here. They're mostly about the MBA and the comparison of the X300 to it."

This coming from the guy who makes one of the first Pro-MBA/Anti-Lenovo related comments: "Best reason for an Air? The design. ThinkPads appeal to the business crowd but for people like me, the Air is king." I'm sorry, how is that related to the article in any way? Please don't answer, I need you to meet my friends Pot and Kettle first.

And at 12:06AM no less. At least we know how you like to spend your Friday nights. Seriously, stop the apple trolling and get a life.
I was in the market for the 209-Pro after doing the research on various NAS. The only gripe I had was that it was only 2 drives. Now if only the price of 1TB drives was lower....
Forget the display, what are they using to play Crysis at that resolution?!?
(I know, most likely still shots being shown, but one can dream)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
