"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
How often does snow fly sideways? Talking just about Michigan here -- I'd have to say every major / sub-major storm. Hell I've seen snow fly UP more often then I've cared to. I've had to pull over so I could clean off my headlamps that were covered with more then an inch of ice & snow. I've put myself in a ditch while only going 5 mph. My brother while STOPPED on an on-ramp slide into the ditch due to ice. Which honestly was a site to be seen, I was behind him.
Look winter is harsh ... we don't need something else making conditions worse.
A note on bad drivers:
Look, I understand where most of you are coming from here, with the fact that people need to learn to drive with conditions.
But what happens is that over time the "rules of the road" not the "traffic laws" become the defacto rules.
For example -- Driving in anything other then the left lane except to pass; Passing on the right, because a slower driver is driving in the left lane slower then you are in the right lane; driving 78 mph in a 70 mph stretch; Not stopping on a blinking left run lane red light.
All of these have become an "acceptable practice." While all ticket-able offenses I'm guessing more then not think they are legal to do.
