Now Jason, you can't complain that you've got lots of requests to approve when you complained about the 5,000 limit and asked people to send you friend requests to get you to the limit. :-)
I think it's nice that Apple are allowing us UK users the privilege of paying a third more than US users, by charging £85 which equates to around $172. Thanks for that, Steve. It means a lot.

(One of the main things it means is that I won't be ugrading anytime soon.)
But now the Borough Council are launching a legal challenge (bit last minute, as the new parking scheme is supposed to come into force at 8am Monday), because the County Council have instigated it without their consent. So these super-hightech machines could be rudely uprooted and carted away very soon. Hopefully.
Of course, your iPod gets totalled when you throw the clock across the bedroom when it starts squawking at you!
Kinda strange, don't ya think, that everyone's getting all PC over a Mac advert?
We had these machines years ago in our seaside arcades; I remember them from at least 20 years ago. They were supposed to be Popeye, after he'd had his spinach, and you got to impress your girl or your mates at how strong you were. Of course, all you had to do was time your move to the split-second when the gears disengaged just after you put your money in and you could win easily. Now a bunch of wimps are getting their arms broken? Please!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
