Keeping the extra laptops if NewEgg doesn't mention anything is bad enough (and it's pretty bad), but if they offer you a great deal for doing something you should have done for free, keeping the 3rd one is downright mean.
800 Mhz may do for note taking, though even that was rough on the original Compaq TC1000 (1 Ghz Transmeta). For Photoshop, you'd have better luck on an etch-a-sketch.
They don't have to support it hacked, but you can tear apart anything you own for kicks. No legal consequence (excepting the US Flag, I think)

"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
