Man...troll city in here.
1. sam-evans...uh...Halo 3. I think that will boost sales just a little. THERE IS NO GAME SONY CAN RELEASE THAT WILL SALE AS MANY UNITS HALO WILL SALE IN THE US.

2. shase...you only play Motorstorm and God of War 2 (a ps2 game)? Talk about not broadening your horizons...

3. There is no possible way for a price cut. Shareholders would jump out at the very thought. Shareholders want their returns as soon as possible, not 5 years off...

4. Enjoying Live Arcade. How is Sony doing on their project?
Uh...John...its bought by a no name with ZERO transactions. People are supposed to believe that? Fact is (and what I was trying to state in my first response) that there is LESS demand here in the U.S. at least than the other 2 new consoles. The fact that the PS3 cannot be sold for a large price means people NO LONGER WANT IT. Not some grand plan of PS3 wishers to hold out to lower the price. THIS IS NOT THE HOUSING MARKET.
According to Ars Technica, "The demand for the system is still high, but few people seem willing to pay the large premiums the scalpers want."

Here I am about to write a paper for Economics and then this statement gets thrown at me...
Thank you Frankie for that great observation. We all know the all important 1 point seperates the "o.k." games from the greats...keep coming with the good points.
"If more long time PC gamers like myself decide that consoles are powerful enough now - then PS3 has a bright future."

Haha...like you are the "large" demographic Sony was looking for. One of the dumbest comments I have seen.

And Extracheese...Natomas.
Translation: "We pushed this thing out so fast that half of the stuff we wanted to put in it could not be put in on time"
Maybe posts like this are why there arent as many commentators anymore. Why so negative? Going thru the last few posts and they are all negative. Was this site developed for console bashing? For fanboys to come in and laugh? I dont get it...

To comment on the post. This is really a major problem?!? (Here comes so many gamers to post fake stories) Had no such thing...
What a great rumor to start. Another way to slow sales for the 360? Bravo again Sony. This ones right up there with a spring launch (How the hell did someone believe ANY console would launch at the beginning of summer is beyond me...)
"If Sony were listening to it's fanbase...why remove Rumble?"

Cause they dont want to give immersion any more moneys.

Uh...you care if Sony looses money? Uh...can we block this guy now because of extreme fanboism? I just want good gaming and a good purchase for MY pocket. Why would I care about a multi-billion dollar company?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
