Did you invent a way to do mechanical testing over teh interweb? Awesome.
Droid is awesome.

I'm waiting for Dalek...
I can think of something Apple will want from Google that can be a bargaining chip to get multi-touch on Android. It's called FREE TURN-BY-TURN VOICE NAVIGATION. Apple, you want it? Better give up the multi-touch.
On Mad Men ep. 10, Betty used a 1958 Siemens wall phone. Ok, somebody correct me if I have that wrong. It may have been a Bell.
Just be sure to carry around that charger everywhere you go!
It's much more common that there is too much ambient light to read rather than not enough. Even if I *could* read in the dark, I probably wouldn't (because it's bad for your eyes), and even if I did, it wouldn't be that often. Just saying...
I have a Kindle DX, and got over its foibles within the first couple hours. Yeah, the keyboard is not great, but damn, this thing lets you browse the web FOR FREE people! FREE! I'm not going to use it to write a novel any time soon, but the keyboard is useable, at least, enough to type in URLs or short messages. And reading books, blogs, and PDFs is an absolute pleasure. The cost of saving your eye sight alone makes it well worth the price of entry. Engadget got this review wrong.
I got notification from Amazon this morning that my Kindle DX will arrive June 12. Jealous?
Yeah, I think they're going to be sued or asked to change the name.
I was very excited to receive the updated Mac Pro, because I was going to install the CalDigit RAID card. It turns out Apple has done away with the ipass connector that was needed, so the CalDigit card is no longer compatible. Thought some folks here might want to know that. I called CalDigit and they are trying to see what they can do about it. Also, I don't think anyone mentioned this, but there don't appear to be any internal eSATA connections any longer, which is too bad. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
