I really, really, really need this phone.
This always cracks me up. People call for Tesla to run GM and they've only delivered 500 cars in over a year.

nope, s2000 is still around.
CraigJ

Your friend did NOT "essentially" do the same thing that GM was doing. His battery was NOT warrantied to last for 10 years/150,000 miles, it did NOT have on board diagnostics to diagnose emissions related problems on the vehicle, it essentially had nothing that car manufacturers have to consider when building any car, much less a car that can propel the wheels with electric motors.

Trying to compare your friends junkyard EV project to a full production vehicle is as smart as standing in water and playing with electricity.
So what, the volt won't get the $7,500 tax credit?

That would put this at $17,500 more than the volt (if it winds up being $40,000 before tax credits)
Wrong.

All you would have to do is go to Google News and type "chevy volt assembly" to learn the volt will be made in Hamtramck, in Detroit, MI.

Your TSX is a nice car but as someone already pointed out is NOT made in the US.

The misinformation here is very impressive.

And you act like Tesla prices their car artificially high. Why would any company want to do that?? To sell less cars??

Your "plug-in TSX" would probably be $50,000+
yea...and psystar is really selling an openmac computer.
@emailtabs

Not true actually.

If you built the components into the fridge case itself it would not build up condensation. The only time that would happen is if you had a cold computer out in the ambient environment.

If what you were saying is true then everything in your fridge would be soaked 24/7 in the summer. It only gets that way when you bring it OUT of the fridge and the water in the air condenses on the cold surfaces.

Even when you open the fridge, the only surface that collects condensate is really the evap coil
It is being launched on Sprint, actually.
Who the hell has enough time to be searching the CODE for apple's website to find dumb stuff like this???

On that note, why do I have the time even read this post??
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
