Good, I was looking for an excuse to run Fedora Core on my primary machine... it's just too bad that all those software vendors like Adobe and Norton are no longer going to get my money because thanks to Microsoft I will no longer have an OS to run their products on...

Not quite true - when updates stop coming, the OS doesn't perish, but hackers and malware strive.

I am probably what you would call an HTC fanboy and what Seth Godin would call a "sneezer" (at least 3 people I know have purchased the Touch because of my first impressions of the device). I am now on the third generation of HTC devices myself (HTC Apache, HTC Mogul, HTC Touch) and quite frankly this dissapoints me a lot as a loyal customer. I've been holding my breath for the HTC Omni but now I just don't know anymore...

"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
