Why do you say it's a joke car. I'm not trying to be belligerent here, I am genuinely ignorant as to your info. Did they already scrap the design? Last I heard they were shipping at the end of the year.
Aptera? Anyone heard of this? On Sale in California now for less than $30K. All electric car. Yay Tesla, yay GM, yay Toyota. You guys are at least 3 years behind. w00t.
I agree. How does someone come up with an MTBF approximately 100x times longer than the device has been in development? I don't mean this to be a snide comment on Imation or anyone else: I'm genuinely stumped. How are these things calculated? Anyone know?
I just "upgraded" from exactly that iPod (which I never filled) to the 16Gb touch because I wanted to have WiFi access while traveling for work without having to pull out and boot up my ginormous laptop. Furthermore, I also recently ran my old iPod over with my car. Don't ask how I did that.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't cadmium sulfide a RoHS-banned substance? (just like mercury in the flourescent bulbs) I work with phosphor scintillator screens in our engineering and we've had to migrate away from any scintillators with cadmium in them for that reason. Does that means these LEDs will be RoHS non-compliant? That could be damning for them...
Heaven forbid that when major news in the tech gadget arena comes out, a tech gadget news site covers it thoroughly. I'm sure you complained that Engadget was all M$ when the Xbox 360 launched. If Apple is the biggest news (which gauging by their stock price, I'd say a few people seem to be interested in Apple lately,) then let a news group cover it and quit complaining. I'd rather have too much news than not enough. The search bar is a beautiful thing.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
