I actually could use this device.. i have a 12 hour work shift and i do heavy browsing and IMing on my iphone 3g.... im always carrying my charger....

however they can kiss my ass for $100

ill keep the charger in my pocket... thankfully apple made the 3g's charger smaller... ill just have to bring that everywhere i go

This is crazy... it really lets me think.... Do i REALLY need the iPhone... the answer is no... when taking a step back... the only thing this phone has over others is that its enticing...the aesthetics of the phone is luring us in to the "got to have it mindset" not its functionality... Apple has hypnotized us... we are willing to spend so much on a phone that has no MMS messaging, no voicedial, no video recording, no voice recording, no stereo bluetooth...but the fact that it looks so pretty and can do the very few features it has so cool is whats making our wallets burn....Apple and AT&T are nuts

Coolone300... stop telling everyone they should of known that the iphone price was going to subsidized for new users and iphone users only....Jobs said 199 in the keynote...but for some reason just 11 days b4 the release..surprise..current users get screwed over..even if we are willing to extend our contract... i would have expected to only pay 199 no matter what....not to mention the 1st gen was same price for all.... AT&T is just getting screwed by apple so what do they do... they take it out on their very own customers... its a shame
