i usually hate haters, but frankly this particular violinist is not on my favorite people list. yes i've met him in person, yes he was incredibly horrid in person during rehearsals and non concert times.
You can call a local beekeeper, sometimes they would love to get a "free" hive. They can get them into hive using smoke or bee smoke and truck them away. If on the other hand it isn't honey bees, then that person can call an exterminator.
dect is a good tech option: interchangeable wireless landline handsets that work even with different manufacturers. drop me a line if you want more info.

hah. i love blurry camera phone pics.
i have a hhk2 lite in black, use it on my mac and linux machines with synergy, love it. i'm not sure i care about the extra keys, but i will give it a try. i use my hhk with custom mapping everywhere otherwise synergy between debian and os x and freebsd is pretty pointless.
thanks jason for the link to that podcast, i usually hate podcasts but i just listened to the last three episodes of venture cast in a row: really fantastic.

i just cleaned out my bloglines so it's just the stuff i want to read, i cut everything superfluous out. the email addiction: a problem when i have push email to my phone and unlimited data on my phone plan. but, i do get to leave the house more often than before...

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
