70 euro? More like 129 euro, like Tiger, no?
It makes sense for Apple to want to set up its service *within* the European Union. The Channel Islands are British dependencies but are not part of the UK or the EU.
Don't wanna be a pain in the butt, but you Engadget guys have *got* to learn the difference between "complement" and "compliment."

From the American Heritage Dictionary:
Complement: "Something that completes or brings to perfection" (which is what you usually mean in your articles)
Compliment: "An expression of courtesy or praise"

There you go, I said it.
"It's a real shame. Dropping these products before they're ever released. So sad when that happens."

"Guess there wasn't enough demand for 'em, were they no good?"

Huh? "Drops" means "releases." If you read the article, it says that the watches will be available in October.
@Dukey
Notice the wink on my last line? It was an attempt to make my comment lighter. Still, I agree with you that using Latin words is *almost* never a good idea.
Oh, by the way, I think you meant "audacity." "Ordasidy" is not a word.
Later, man.
:-D
@Dukey
"Cum" is Latin for "with." Get an education, man.
;-)

Wikipedia says it's been around since November 2003.
Interesting how two countries can be different (namely Italy vs. the UK), as I'm sure I wasn't dreaming when I saw two policemen *using* Segways at the Bologna train station.
I used a MacAlly BT mouse with my iBook G4 until a couple of months ago. I wasn't displeased, but I wasn't too pleased either. I run through batteries way too often, and often the computer stopped seeing *while I was using it* (which I believe shouldn't happen). I'm back to a wired mouse now – but it's Mighty one :-)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
