The GPS thing sounds to me like it wouldn't work well. If you're putting it in somewhere without a 3G signal, like a basement in a large building, there's no way GPS would reach there.

I have 3.1 on my 3G. On Tuesday morning my phone instantly went from ~100% battery to 0% and shut down. At first I thought it was broken but after recharging it turned on again. After it rebooted I received a text message that was actually sent at 8pm the previous night! I was really upset about those two problems happening together.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
