@ yehaken: That's also what the survey says: There's a high correlation between above-average wealth and households with apple computers (or something to that extent). I would't go as far as to say that the results of this survey are completely meaningless though. These Apple households give an indication of which electronics are going to be adopted in the near future on a more mainstream basis. These people have money, so they're likely to be early adopters, as the high entry prices of new products doesn't really deter these people.

Whatever information to this respect is won out of this survey, however, is likely to be quite skewed: in my opinion, Apple PC users are WAY more likely to buy new apple products than non-Apple PC users. Oh well....
..did you even read this article before posting? And still too late to claim 1st reply, better luck next time.

But yeah, awfully coincidental all this. I guess they got that design award for scavenging or something then :S
I know, right? Dutch these days, especially concerning electronics and stuff is laced with English. They use so much English in commericals on TV over here that most foreigners would probably be able to understand them. TV series and movies aren't translated, instead we have subtitles. Kids are exposed to so much English over here that you would be able to have a decent conversation in English with most 4th graders. Oh well... the Dutch are just lazy I guess.
No 3G issues over here in The Netherlands... then again, we may be using a totally different system over here, no idea. Anyway, this would mean that either: the 5800's 3G hardware is within acceptable parameters for The Netherlands (and probably the rest of Europe as this problem hasn't been heard of before), or: our 3G stuff is different over here.
I'd have to agree, these kinds of developments definitely make it a LOT more appealing...
Yeah my Wii also received a message pointing me to the UK form, however I live in the Netherlands and that form only lets me select UK or Ireland.. In other words, I don't think I can get one.. yet.

Oh well, don't really need one anyway. I'm not even using the wrist strap, my hands are sticky enough themselves :p Seriously, I really don't get how people can manage to throw this thing so hard it goes straight through their LCD screen...
It sorta looks like Weebo, that flying robot thingy from the movie Flubber...
Moreover, crackers out there will be laughing in the face of this, since SecuROM security has been broken several times over already. It will only be a matter of time before BioShock's protection will be cracked as well, leaving the illegal downloaders with a care-free, non-rootkit packing version of the game.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
