I am running mine in a dual boot using a separate partition, one XP, one 7. It installed well, with nearly all my drivers preinstalled, apart from my onboard 3 and a half MM sound "card", which didn't matter as I use USB speakers primarily. It was clean, smooth, and easy to use, even on machine with a P4 (2.8ghz) processor, a nvidia 6600 and 1.5 GB of ram. Photoshop CS4 and Steam both installed easily, with no errors and I am yet to hit a BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) while using it. The only issue I have, which vista also has is that the networking is a little hard to use if you know what you are doing. For example, looking for the list of network adaptors to set up a static IP, or even the fact that there is no repair function, only a diagnose function. This means that you cannot easily reassign the IP of a Dynamic computer etc. Other than that, it runs well, and after just doing a clean install of XP, only to have it fall into being slow and unresponsive at boot (no viruses etc, just bogged down) within 3 weeks of heavy use, it seems like (to use an overused term) the answer to my prayers. Kapersky Beta for 7 is great too, but is let down by the reminiscence of Vista, because it asks you to allow every connection, unless you allow the whole program. Other than that, well built, especially for a beta antivirus.
Well done indeed, especially for a windows Beta.
Neat! If I don't win I'll probably find a set somewhere for sale.....
You would have the trouble because you wouldn't be able to see the screen when playing with one hand.
Probably Windows XP. Stable and it works well on most computers.

"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
