very curious to see what nokia can do with a netbook... I want one!
Nokia's market share hasn't drop... why is everyone talking about this situation as Nokia's doom... they for sure are not growing or maybe even losing market share in smartphones, and that had to happen... How many new smartphone brands and models have come to the market in the last 2 years? this has to happen, it's not posible to maintain everything as it was 2 or 3 years back...

...I'd like to see Nokia responding better... but they are really taking their time... however, to talk about Nokia's doom, is still naive...

Launch of an HSPA+ network, without supporting HSPA+ devices!... Trying to fool customres?
All major vendors will have 42 Mbps at the end of the year, and some claim 84 Mbps for the end of 2010. Huawei will just be fine... and for sure, this is not a sw upgrade, as you need to implement MIMO for achieving these speeds (unless the carrier owns 20 MHz of spectrum, which is very unlikely...). In any case, it's imposible to even half of this speed by one single user in a commercial network, the capacity mentioned here is for 1 cell, which is supposed to provide service in a wide area, and is shared by all usere within
From maemo.nokia.com:

"Skype: Call friends on Skype for free wherever you are in the world. All you need is a 3G or Wi-Fi connection."
N97 for sale, full of apps, latest sw (12) and car accesories... 450 USD, delivered in UAE or South Africa... :o)
Can't get used to the keyboard, and the locking button... really hate them sometimes. A bigger keyboard with "more" standard keys location would be great.
E71 in white looks good
As a former "motorolan", it's very sad to hear these news again. When I left, they were about to do the same to the networks division (where I used to work) and now this is happening all over again with the handsets... what's next?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
