There's an alternative to the forthcoming SlingCatcher that just released:
www.internetvue.com
I've played around with an early version and it worked great for watching videos on YouTube, movies from MovieLink, Powerpoints on TV, photos, etc. No format or content restrictions - whatever is on your PC is refit to your TV.
Actually, if getting content from the PC to the TV is your primary goal there are a few slick devices out there. I've played around with an early version of this one and was pretty impressed:
What are the PC requirements for the Connected software? I've run some media streaming solutions before and the bottleneck seemed to be processing capabilities on the PC which led to skippy video.
The nice part is that after spending the $368, it's only a small leap to get the games off the PC and into the living room. Addlogix has a PC to TV streamer called InternetVue -
Pretty simple way to get all the games back on your widescreen rather than staring at the PC. Certainly a better option than dropping slingboxes across all the broadcast regions.

"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
