Here Here.. Right on brother.

They just keep posting this crap because aol payroll now. Old engadget was the best.
Now they count on the pages views and comments (like this one).

I miss my dreamcast.. Hell it would be nice to have some of these so called next gen systems included an LCD display on the control for if anything at least a battery display instead of stupid lights you have to figure out.

Dail up game play, Nice graphics, Keyboard for chat, Burnable games with out mod, Fun games.

Ughhhh Dreamcast was so ahead of it's time it was refreshing. Maybe at this point im spoiled but nothing seems as refreshing as when i unboxed my dreamcast.

Jason thanks for the info on the price. Wow thats alot of coin. I am guessing that the cost is high right now because as a small company they had high production costs from the company that put the product together for them.

I'm sure again as a small biz if they could lower the price to sell more and still make a profit they would have. Might just not be part of their biz model right now.

I still agree with that price I can find an alternative and still have some coin left over to play with.

It's to bad they did not try to bring down the price because there is not that big of a market for this product. And for limo or commercial transport use - people wont want to take the time to pair the phone to the handset for a short trip.

Jessica, Thanks for the extra info. That helps me alot and i'm sure it helps others that are very interested in this product.

i do know anyone can make a domain. it can even point to your AOL email. My point was now a days internet image is EVERYTHING.

I run four startups that have taken off (one reason very interested in this product) and no investors would have looked at me if i did not at least spend 30 bucks on a sites/domains.

It was not to be a poke at the company. Just we have all seen way to many of these sites just like this that ended up crashing or ripping others off.

Now back to the product. Can i have one? lol

Thanks again Jessica, It's got me all warm inside again. I will be contacting them today.

O god! just hit the read link.. The company has the worst bo bo high school front page project website around. (looks like it was made by a 9th grader in class) and they even use AOL email as a business email.

Something just seems fishy to me about this now.... Damn i got excited.

I might be a snob but I don't normally trust nor deal with companies that don't use their own domain names for email ( just not very pro like) and have a website that looks fake ish.

Anyone have any other information about these guys?

I was just thinking about this a few days ago... But with all the tech. Make the handset cordless and im in. Bluetooth headsets i sometimes leave in the car (over night) forget to charge them. lose them. These old handsets sounded great on speaker phone and feel nice to dail with one hand. I just really wish it was a wireless unit. Like maybe power the cradle just for charging and audio for hard wired sound but leave the handset as the master bluetooth extension of your cell.

I think there is a very small market for this and you can count me in. At the same time in the limos i get transported in sometimes for work they have cordless car phones like above. So if it sells it might grow into something worth keeping an eye out for.

It also must blend.
ummm Will, Can you tell me what crime gets me the last punishment?

Just curious that's all.

:)
Im not trying to start a fight or bash on engadget. I don't think it's wrong to question a professional bloggers post. The reason why he is a pro is because of the readers of engadget. There for a found it not to be an insult to anyone or engadget. I just hold them on a high standard of posting because I know for a fact what Ryan and engadget are capable of. It's only a matter of time until ryan becomes a technical analyst for CNN, or MSNBC or something. Maybe even the next David Po. So my point to all of this was give us a little more.

A news reporter always pushes his limits a little. I can understand ryan not wanting to boil any water with MSoft and in no way am i asking for that.

I was not asking for a little more information.

and ryan i apologize if you took my comment the wrong way, I in no way meant to question you or offend you. It's just normally you push the limits a little bit, this time it was a little dry.

Dear Engadget, you have become part of our daily lives. But of lately, you have been posting nonsense. This post provides no real information, Gives us loyal readers nothing but a slap in the face. You got to see something that you cant tell us anything about. In no way is that breaking news like it has been tagged because really it's no news.

Just because of AOL payroll does not mean the way you blog has to be any different. The reason we love you guys and we keep coming back is because most of us are loyal from the start and don't want to support any other site.

So to stay loyal to us, Give us a bone. Don't tell us you cant give us any details bend the rules a little or don't talk about it at all.

I'm sure more could have been said about this post. It's said to have to search for more information some place else or wait until CES.

ummmm dude what the heck are you talking about... The night Lep was released I was at the apple store i have 5 macs in my house and i wanted a new MacBook pro (exchanged for the new updated version yesterday) I bought the MBP and the Family pack of Lep. first thing i did was took the drop in lep disk and held down the c key went to my disk utility and erased my disk and did a clean install of lep. My reason it used less hard drive space rather then upgrading ( no pre-installed i life)

Check again, maybe you jumped the gun again or maybe they changed the type of drop in.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
