Anybody else freaked out by the two-headed dog in the Slim Jim desktop wallpaper?
The indoor track at Cornell (and most colleges) is 200m in length. I ran a few meets there back in college.
Engadget only copied-and-pasted the DOJ ruling to expedite the showing of the news on their website. If they were to take the time to actually write an article about it before posting, then everyone would get on their backs for being "late" with the news.
I'll be listening to Lenny Kravitz during take-off. :)
Indeed you could! The external analog clock on my Cingular 3125 would look even slicker.
Is it just me or is AT&T taking over the world one company at a time?
Yes, and then you're supposed to go to your local supermarket and pay $.50/lb. more for bananas because everyone is b-a-n-a-n-a-s over organic things.
As a clarification for my last post, I do want televison often, I just don't watch it often.
I disagree. The movie on the Phillips website let you change the new Aurea ambilight on and off and it was truly like night and day. It make me want to put the 32" Olevia LCD HDTV I bought six months ago and put it in my bedroom and buy this for my living room wall. I don't want television that often (although football season is almost upon us), but I do like watching movies every so often and this would go to make that experience much more enjoyable to go along with the surround sound.

Also, just a tidbit, but in the PDF factsheet, it says that the new Aurea has 24 mini speakers and two sub-woofers! I know they're really tiny but I thought that was pretty cool.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
