Any way to modify that file in a pref edditor. I tried using property list editor, but it could not open up the iTunes library file, only the XML file. I am assuming that the ringtone ghosts are stored in the iTunes library file
To clarify the work around for 7.4.1, when re-naming the files, you need to drag them to your desktop, get info, change the file format, then drag it back into the ringtones folder. If you modify them while in the ringtones folder, this WILL NOT WORK.
Hasn't this been broken because of the 7.4.1 update?
Well that worked, but it also killed all my play lists, etc. Any other ideas?
Any ideas on how to clear out my ringtone list now that they don't work? Deleted the files under user/music/itunes/ringtones but the list still says that they are there?

Tried a restore, didn't work.

"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
