When I moved to the Uk, I was all like "Oh... paper money... how... quaint..."
Well, when they released the Wii HDTV market penetration was relatively low... in 2011 I would think it will be high enough that HD is an absolute must. Most of the multimedia stuff I think they will stay away from, but I could be wrong.

They will try to keep it all simple like though, most people seem to like that
Great, previously they wanted a ridiculous amount for bleeding edge tech, now they want a ridiculous amount for 2 year old tech...

Nice work Sony, way to stay in the game
I am not offended, just disappointed, and confused
Hey!!

$1200 is RRP here in NZ, sucks
Yeah, I'm with the riders here, you guys don't seem to appreciate how hard it is to consult a paper map on a bike. For touring GPS is invaluable.
I have a Zumo 550, which is wicked, it can be distracting, but so can a hundred other things, it is up to me to prioritise and be safe.
The Zumo does a fantastic job and comes with really good mounting hardware that makes it a breeze to get on/off the bike.
Nice work

Actually we named the fruit after us, but we stole the name from a bird, duh
@16 Um, No, $529 for a core, and $719 for the premium here in NZ. The thing here is that Monaco (The local distributor til recently) sucked so hard at promoting Nintendo it was criminal. Now we don't even have them, and adding this too high price, I really worry for Nintendo here.

Um, download virtual console games on the Wii and XB arcade games on the 360 and have a good time playing games instead of wanking over how many SPU's your worthless Sony machine has.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
