@Erik:

>Why would a Computer OS be competing with a cell phone (which operates with a strip down computer OS)?

I think you should ask that question to Microsoft's engineer Hilton Locke who compared the future win os with today's iphone, he obviously believes that the Windows7 would be a strong competitor with the iphone... in 2010.
This is good news to me, when I take my cameras to holiday knowing both my cameras are almost/totally water proof - a Cannon PowerShot a40 and a Sanyo CA65.

Erm.... did I read it right? "iphone models produced after JANUARY 1st"??? I thought the iphone was first introduced June'07, or did I over slept and missed something?
Those are not diamonds Andrew...
The reason to have OSX on it is because we dont want to deal with the worst customer services that dell includes in the package.

"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
