Oct 21st 2009 4:20PM I heard they wanted to test this new technology in a controlled area... in case it turns everyone into flesh-eating zombies. That way, "cleansing" the area will be easier - and less media coverage. The Government also has all the GPS satellites prepared to re-route potential visitors away from the entire area (to continue The Simpsons reference).

Oct 19th 2009 3:59PM Wait... Was 'The Fall Guy' released in 16:9 widescreen format back in the 80's ? Doesn't appear to be stretched or zoomed. Hmmmm.... Lemme get Lee Majors on the phone......

Sep 8th 2009 11:57AM Apparently, you're not familiar with servers in the business world - which have been using various distros of Linux (like Red Hat, Fedora, etc) for YEARS over Microsoft's server OS - due to Linux's highly stable platform (hard to have a server running 24/7/365 if you keep having it crash). Plus, Ubuntu (very similar to Windows & OSX) is getting VERY slick/desirable... which is why manufacturers are starting to use it now.

LG lauches a trio of 1080p monitors splattered with ATSC tuners, USB Multilink {Engadget}

Jan 7th 2009 1:29PM For those Engadget users here in the States (like me)... SCART is a funny-looking, old A/V cable not used much outside of Europe. Good for over-seas consumers... but does little for us here. It's a common connection found on certain electronics - but we never did much with the technology. Monitor does look freakin' sweet though.
