@SIRIUS

Indeed, that sort of thing is already in use in many places in america, my power company records my usage daily and sends it out over the cellular network (also uses powerline networking in some cases). I can then bring up my daily usage online. It's not realtime, but it's better than nothing at all and they have eliminated the need for walking meter readers.
People have been doing this for years, at least in the car audio scene. You could certainly do it cheaper than 300 bucks if it's your thing
"Overland Park/Lenexa area" LOL, Olathe gets no respect from the rest of JoCo. It's in Olathe! just say it!
Terrible news for those of us who prefer not to pay attention!
How does that have anything to do with GTA?
It'd be cooler if you could somehow hook it up to the Google Streetview images. Then you could peddle around the streets of various cities during your workout, sort of like those exercise bikes you see at a lot of gyms now, except with actual images.
Buried.
You're just saying that because the iphone doesn't have it ;)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
