...or they can feel confident enough to go for the headshot.
All the flaps and creases make me think vagina.
I'd actually I'd say Kevin Rose is from TechTV origins... whatever happened to him and Sarah Lane anyways?

Actually whatever happened to Sarah Lane?

Patrick Norton and Leo Laporte rocked as well... too bad I can't find a show like the screensavers on TV anymore.
I think the idea is that liquid can get inside the device... it doesn't seal it off completely from the outside elements... rather I'm sure the "golden shellback" fumes get inside the device and cover every component, wire, relay etc and ensures that water that is inside doesn't effect anything.

Still doesn't explain how exterior ports, jacks, and battery contacts are covered... but that'd be my guess.
God I miss the screensavers... I remember how that show actually used to teach me things...
The torque and horsepower gauges aren't for the driver...
Really no shit. From the instant I turn on my PC till the time I can open my web browser no more than 35 seconds have passed. I believe many of the complaints people have with Vista would be solved with adequate hardware.

However that's not to say that Microsoft did an awesome job with making good suggestions with their Vista capable scheme... and the OS is a hog... but on a good PC it's just fine.
@Dolemite.

No... portable charging is exciting for regular travelers, techies, and especially tech geeks that fly a lot.

We're on a site that talks almost exclusively about computers and gadgets... and you act surprised when a few people here get excited about something new and tech related.

I think the issue isn't with Minnesota, it's with the general purpose of this site and the demographic it panders to.

I am from Minnesota, more specifically the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area... I ride the light rail under MSP nearly every day... I'm not about to run up to the terminal and check them out... why? Because I have other better things to do.

I like how you decide to criticize an entire state for false perceptions of boringness, simply because a few individuals expressed they wanted to check out something new and tech related... on a tech related site... and not just some tech related website, one that you spend a considerable amount of time on yourself making posts about tech related news... talk about pathetic, I'd laugh at you, but your really just so sad. Talk about the kettle calling the pot black.
Wild Wild West the movie with Will Smith running away from a giant mechanical spider?
I know your making a satirical summation of the pointless stories on fox news...

...but I would have thought that since News Corp bought Myspace all that criticism would have had to have gone out with window along with journalistic integrity.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
