Mar 13th 2008 10:54AM I have used vista 3 times and those times. It looks great and i think a good step but I have gone back to xp. I just did not find it suited my needs. Slow file transfer, 3rd party programs crashing, 1st part programs crashing. Nero not working at all. coasters, burns not fixing. The whole system locking up trying to do one process. These "features" happened with more than one program. Not just with optical media related programs.
Now its all well and good saying "arr but nero is not vista". This is true but having a pc that is not fit for purpose (in my eyes). Doesnt mean i can accept that.
I am not vista or xp fanboy. When the day comes that vista improves to the level that i need and maybe one could nero and other programs on vista. Then i am stuck with xp.
Now its great that theres some of you where its worked out perfectly good for you but others it just has not.
