I've got 2 big remarks for this:

- Let's see him make it real and not just a patent.
- It needs 1 second to display 1 image! Not quite what we're looking for in a projector. It only seems usefull for giving a powerpoint presentation.

And don't get me started on how big a screen he's going to get with lasers.
Let's see you invent something better then. Ever followed a basic thermodynamics course by chance? High energy efficiency isn't that easy to obtain.
What's the use of a 3 way pass with flash memory? You can't get information from previous write cycles from flash memory like you can with magnetic storage.
They may have the deal but I doubt they can sell it locked. "koppelverkoop" (don't know the English word) is still illegal in Belgium. It will probably be like those other phones in Belgium with a SIM card included but where can just put another SIM in it.
It still is a prototype after all. Those details will probably be fixed by the time it's ready to hit the market.
I'm really gratefull to live in Belgium then, we pay around €500 a year.
It's called DEP (data execution prevention). It is used to mark parts of the memory as non-executable and it's a way to prevent buffer overflows.
Am I the only one that doesn't see much sense in teaching a robot to think for himself? Okay, better AI in games would be nice, but not getting shot in real life by a robot that thinks humans are obsolete is even nicer!
Uhm why is Belgium so offensive a word?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
