does ne1 have more specific details as to how this works? as someone said, this disc is supposedly platform agnostic. so is it possible to use it on any bd live enabled blu player ?!?! or is sony including some support code on the ps3 for this to work!?!?!?
1. Remove ALL buttons. is steve jobs ur god? buttons are good. help you navigate the device without looking at it. like say from you pocket. try doing that with a player with no buttons
2. Remove the Sony logo on the front because it is annoying. 3. Make it a capacitive touchscreen instead of resistive. its a capacitive screen
4. Add more colors. would pink be fine ?
5. Improve on the ugly UI .. The UI of SE's Rachael Concept is a good one. use it, then you would know how logical and gluid the UI is. definately up there with apple UIs
6. Better battery life, better battery life, better battery life. this already has among the best battery life compared to all touch screen mp3 players (ipod touch, p3, s9)
7. Add some stuff that makes this player unique from the competition instead of just carrying the brand "Sony". noise cancellation, oled screen(s9 has it though not this quality, zune hd still not on the market), slacker with caching. amazing sound quality, very high quality..
ok. this is more than a coincidence. the upcoming sony x series walkman has the exact same resolution for the screen, and so does the cowon s9. so there seems to be a trend here. either its difficult to make really high res oleds or something?
hmmmm... its interesting how you compare this to the itouch in EVERY SINGLE post about this player, and comment multiple times in each thread...
its pretty clear from other comments here that everyone agrees that the sony's strong point is its sound quality and screen, whereas the itouch has its strength in the beautiful environment that apple has created for it. maybe you should just accept the beauty of each device rather than having such a prejudiced outlook.
or maybe you could just turn down the fanboyism a bit so that everyone else can have some constructive discussion.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
