Cole.., Kenneth Cole
Killer Whale??? That looks nothing like Rosie O'Donell!

But seriously, like everyone on here, this makes me think of the porn possibilities. Hmmm... just imagine, a ron jeremy seat, complete with fuzzy chest hair seat warmer!

oh, and @Chris - STFU, go home.
@Chinthaka -
Get past the first page and you'll see -- "The Canon EOS-1D Mark III has a APS-H-sized 10.1-megapixel CMOS sensor"

tha's not full frame. I know some photographers like the 1.6x magnification of this camera, but for about $3900 LESS, you can get their rebel XTi and a couple sweet L IS lenses. If anyones even THINKING about spending over $3k for a DLSR, just bite it and buy the 21MP daddy-o EOS1Ds MKIII. Its only $3K more, and that the price of a decent lens or two.
awesome.. so now I can fake nudes of my cousi... er... some celebrity even better!!!
it should be noted that this is just a press release for the series II H3D, and the new mid 31MP product line... the original version of the HD3 with the same 39MP or 22MP resolutions have been around for about a year, so the 39MP thing (and price) isn't a new discovery... they have been offering digital backs for their film cameras that reached upwards of 22MP years ago too!
free way of 360 degree sound...

1. place speaker facing up in middle of room
2. play music.
3. run around it like a choad!

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
